La Festa Mille Mille Miglia 2021

Objectives

Objectives

La Festa Mille Miglia, which began in 1997, will celebrate its 25th year in 2021.

In 2020, La Festa Mille Miglia was cancelled for the first time due to the worldwide outbreak of the new coronavirus. In addition to La Festa, many classical car events, music events, and entertainment events were cancelled in Japan. This gave us the feeling that the lights and vibrancy of entertainment in Japan had gone out.

At the beginning of 2021, a state of emergency was declared for the second time, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area and other major cities. The future still remains uncertain, but we remain positive on what the future holds and have decided to hold the La Festa Mille Miglia in September of 2021.

Even the newest vehicles participating in La Festa Mille Miglia were manufactured more than 50 years ago. Unlike modern cars, every single part of these cars is handmade. Simply running these cars is a challenge and during the event there will be problems and various challenges. However, for the participants fixing the problems is part of the fun. It is an incomparable joy to overcome various difficulties and reach the goal safely.

"Respect for the old things"
"No matter how old you are, you are still young at heart"
"Expanding the circle of friendship with all the people involved in the event"
With these three basic principles and spirit, La Festa Mille Miglia will continue its journey through Tohoku.
