La Festa Autunno 2011

Due to the unprecedented earthquake and tsunami that hit eastern Japan on 11 March 2011, it has become difficult for us to come back to the traditional route as previous years. We have also reached a judgment that supportive actions will be needed to the affected areas for years to come. For those two reasons, we will significantly change our event outline and route.

To be specific, we will replace the past route, which started from Meiji Shrine in Harajuku Tokyo and passed through Urabandai in Fukushima prefecture, Twin Ring Motegi in Tochigi prefecture then back to Meiji Shrine again, with the new route, which will start from the same Meiji Shrine in Harajuku Tokyo, drive through Karuizawa in Nagano prefecture, Hakone in Kanagawa prefecture, and then back to Meiji Shrine.

Accordingly, we will be staying at Mampei Hotel Karuizawa on the first and the second day, Hotel de Yama in Hakone on the third day, and ANA Intercontinental Hotel in Tokyo on the final day. We will be driving at Fuji International Speedway for the circuit P.C.

In addition to changes mentioned above, we will renew our event title logo from “Mille Miglia”, which we have used since 1992, to the new one that emphasizes “La Festa”, in order to put it forward as something original to Japan.

We appreciate your understanding to those changes.
Thank you very much for your continuous support.
